Axis rifles feature a modern design with silky-smooth bolt operation and a detachable box magazine. XP models include a mounted and boresighted 3-9x40mm scope, and Axis II models feature Savage's adjustable AccuTrigger. This 30-06 Springfield model has a black synthetic stock and a 22" blued carbon steel barrel.
